Cox Powertrain is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our expanding team within Sales & Customer Service. You will be the first point of contact dealing with customer enquiries, at a global level, responsible for opening and maintaining customer accounts as well as providing administrative support to the sales and aftersales team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Open and maintain customer accounts and details on our CRM system
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately in a timely manner on the inhouse system
  • Review pending orders, working closely with operations and accounts departments to ensure orders are on schedule
  • Monitor progress of all orders and update customers accordingly
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customers
  • Provide administration support to the sales and aftersales team
  • Report generation for the Senior Management Team
  • Data entry such as sales figures, forecasts, performance reviews
  • Dealing with enquiries via email/Live Chat/Social Media
  • Assist in answering questions about warranties, order status and terms of sales.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for Salesforce users in support and troubleshooting
  • Perform ongoing Salesforce administration (creating accounts/profiles, defining fields, updating layouts)


Skills and experience


  • A level education (or equivalent) or higher
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-presented and maintaining a sense of professionalism at all times
  • Experience in resolving issues under time pressure, ability to work independently with a positive attitude
  • An excellent knowledge base of computers, with the ability to learn new systems quickly and comprehensively
  • Exceptional organisational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Good team working skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and different departments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately and thoroughly


  • Second Language preferably Spanish, French or Italian
  • Knowledge of Epicor System
  • Experience using Salesforce
