20 days per annum, rising to 25 days after 2 years’ service,    

Salary and Benefits

£20-25K, dependant on experience


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administrative support for the Purchasing team
  • Supporting the Purchasing team with issuing Request for Quotes (RFQ)
  • Raising stock and non-Stock PO’s on the ERP System
  • Support the buyers with outstanding PO management ensuring delivery dates are still relevant, close down PO’s that are no longer required
  • Book in services and tooling purchase orders to maintain invoice payments
  • Work with the buyers to resolve financial issues including invoice queries with our Finance department
  • Support the buyers and liaise with their expediting plans to ensure in goods and services aredelivere d on time and in full
  • Ensure the purchase order files are kept up to date
  • Maintain the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) register
  • Ensure the supplier contract register is up to date and contract scanned and filed
  • Work with the buyers manging parts to demand requirements
  • Support the Logistics team with shipping requests and maintenance of the import and export documentation standards

 

Skills and experience

  • Excellent administrative and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and experience of the purchase to pay process within a manufacturing operation   
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP system – ideally Epicor or similar
  • Cross-functional business team environment experience preferred
  • Proven ability to self-manage and deliver on time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationship internally
  • Reliable and flexible in their approach
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Experience in import and export control would be an advantages
