Responsibilities and Duties

We are currently recruiting for a Spares Coordinator on a permanent basis, to complete all aspects of the management and supply of Spares Parts, ordered by a Global Customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for everything from order intake, picking, packing and shipping. The role will involve discussing delivery schedules with internal and external customers, so the person needs to be articulate and confident with an ability to stay calm under pressure.

You will be the supervisor of a team of stores and logistics. Your personal and team’s responsibilities include:

  • Picking and Packing spare parts for a global customer base.
  • Liaising with internal account managers to generate delivery forecasts.
  • Use ERP system to prioritise workload.
  • Generating of the delivery documentation including that required by Customs.
  • Arrange Logistics for International shipments
  • Organising shipping consignments to optimise spend
  • Generating strong working relations with a new customer base
  • Create and update KPI’s to show performance against targets set.
  • General housekeeping

 

Skills and Experience

  • Proven, checkable experience in a similar role
  • Communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Organised and self-starting.
  • Computer literate
  • Full, clean driving licence is essential
  • Current Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence is desirable
  • Physically fit enough to undertake the role
  • Careful and thorough attitude with a good work ethic
